Be a part of Pinky’s Film Festival 2026!

Pinky’s Film Festival 2026 will take place in Livingston, Montana, and is hosted at the Empire Twin movie house.

At 5:00 pm, May 6th, 2026, Pinky’s Film Festival will showcase the short movies of amateur and professional producers active in the Rocky Mountain West who have submitted their content to be a part of this competitive festival.

Pinky's Film Festival is committed to building a more robust community of cinephiles and filmmakers in Montana.

Film is by far one of the most influential media in the world for entertainment, sharing stories, and changing how we view our community and its role. It's because of this that we should support student filmmakers and our whole Montana filming community to help share Montana-made narratives and cinematic art.

This festival, sharing art, truth, and hard work, is named after the late great Pinky Warner. Pinky ran the Empire Twin Theater until she passed from Parkinson's in 2019. She loved film and the effect that it had on her community and world; so it goes to reason why she worked so hard to keep the Empire Twin Theater alive and to democratize film for those who enjoy and produce it.

Our festival honors her legacy by bringing industry pros together with students to help bring film to our community for our learning and enjoyment. Our in-person event helps filmmakers network, communicate, and enjoy each other's projects to foster the most robust cinephile and filmmaking community Montana can have. Be there at the Empire Twin Theater in Livingston on May 6th, 2026, to be a part of this legacy of Pinky Warner and Montana's film community.
